Full House Renovation

Our clients Kate & Tom were referred to us by family friends, who had recently completed an extensive renovation & multiple extension project with us.  We are always extra grateful when new clients join our family, via personal recommendation.

Tom & Kate purchased their new property in the thriving and popular village of Backwell, in North Somerset, but had plans to extend, reconfigure & modernise it, both internally and externally.

Due to the extensive internal renovation work required, Tom and Kate moved out of the property, allowing the team to completely gut & transform both the upper and ground floors.

The properties external appearance was enhanced by installing modern anthracite grey doors and windows throughout.

To provide a larger, and more sophisticated welcome, a new porch was constructed, incorporating two velux roof windows, which now flood the homes entrance with sun and natural light.

The internal hallway was also given a facelift by upgrading the old, dated staircase and replastering, providing clean lines throughout.

The ground floor was structurally reconfigured to improve the properties use and flow. Excellence used the new improved floorplan to give the home a new heart & family hub, by crafting a stylish open plan family kitchen and diner, with separate utility.

The clean and modern shaker kitchen was sourced and fitted by Excellence, matched with a hardwearing but warming oak effect LVT flooring.

The previous 2nd reception room now gave way to space saving Bifold doors, which provided easy & elegant access to the properties rear garden, extending its everyday & entertaining living space.

Upstairs, we were able to create an additional bedroom & stylish ensuite with a luxurious walk-in tiled shower area, by extending over the existing garage.

First floor internal storage solutions were also removed and reinstated, to improve the properties functionality.
